The Society organises an annual conference as a part of joint conference with other two societies that have similar aims and objectives as of the ISPQS. These are the Indian Archaeological Society (IAS) and Indian Culture and History Society (IHCS). The joint conference is held at various places all over the country. Generally the conference is held in November-December depending on the convenience of the hosting university or institution. The conference is strictly for the life members of the Society. The society has no provision for financial support to attend the conference.
Generally there is a theme for each conference, but an open session is always there. Life members can also contribute a poster besides oral presentation.
During the conference Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of the society is held.
